VI Toolkit for Java (Technology Preview) available

VMware puts a lot of effort into the development of toolkits so you can write your own programs for the virtual infrastructure.

This morning all people who downloaded the VI Toolkit for Java received an e-mail stating that the technology preview of the next version of the VI Toolkit for Java is available.

Greetings. Please excuse wide distribution.

I am sending you this note because you have downloaded our VMware Infrastructure SDK and thought you might be interested in learning about our latest SDK for Java. The VI SDK for Java is an easy to use tool for building VMware Infrastructure management applications. The SDK is still in Tech Preview and we would really like your feedback.

What we would like you to do:

  • Download and try out the SDK from http://vmware.com/go/sdkforjava (Contains libraries, documentation and sample code
  • Provide feedback in our dedicated forum, tell us what you think and what you would like to see

Visit the VMware Developer Community at http://developer.vmware.com for the latest downloads, sample code and discussion forums.

We’re looking forward to your feedback on the toolkit !

Please remember that it is a technology preview, so it is not production ready (yet).
