VMware View vs Terminal Services

Today VMworld.com released a great video of Brian Madden’s ‘VMware View vs Terminal Services‘ presentation at VMworld Europe 2009. I watched it and it is a very humoristic presentation and it is by no means a pro-VMware story. But the future Brian sees and the fast development of VDI solutions must be very alarming for Citrix. In short, at VMworld Europe 2009 VMware presented new VDI/View features and technologies, the first will be available at the end of 2009 and the last will probably be available June 2010, according to Brian. These features and technologies allow higher user density, much better graphic performance, offline usage and much more, THE desktop solution of the future. So if you meet people who claim that VMware has no vision and future with their View product, link them to this video!
