If I were in your situation I would take the vSphere course, work with the product and take the exam. In this way you should master all future vSphere implementations. You could rush 1 course and 2 exams in 2 months time but if the VI3 certification has no additional value for you I don’t see the value. vSphere is a much more complex product and as I said earlier, in the end real knowledge of the product pays of.
