VCP410 certified.

Today I took my VCP410 exam, as announced earlier this week.
So I studied hard this week and …………….. succeeded!

My score was 344 points of max 400 500. Unfortunately that’s 86%, not enough to become a VMware Certified Instructor :(
(Edited after reading VCP on vSphere 4 Exam Scoring) Too bad but a pass is a pass ……

Compared to my VCP3 exam I found the exam to be quite difficult. It’s not an easy walk through exam, in and out in 20 minutes. But I don’t care, it’s ‘in the pocket’. :)

My exam preparation? Much hands-on experience, read the study guide and all related pdf’s and of course the ‘What’s new in VMware vSphere 4 course’ by NTPRO.nl-guru Eric Sloof. ;)

Well done Erik! Time for me to hit the books, i hear you have to re-take the whole 5-day training, if you let this lapse over to the next year.

Not quite, if you are VCP3 certified you can take the exam without extra training until December 31rd 2009. After that you will have to attend the ‘What’s new in vSphere training’ before you can take the exam.

If you have attended the ‘VI3, Install & configure-training’ but have not taken the exam yet, until December 31rd 2009, you can take the VCP3 and if you pass take the VCP4 exam directly after that.

If you wait until 2010 and haven’t passed the VCP3 exam, you will have to attend the ‘What’s new in vSphere training’. You can then proceed with the VCP4 exam.

i passed my vcp-410 exams user passguide vcp-410 braindumps

    • http://www.vmguru.nl/ Erik Scholten

Despite I do not agree on the use of braindumps, Congratulations!

Braindump passes are promoted by companies which only look at certificates and not the knowledge behind it. In the end real knowledge of the product pays of. So work with the product, study hard and pass the exam.

I have been studying from last 15 days. Doing lots of hands on practice, reading vmware documentation. Just to be on the safe side i bought these three dumps

Certifyme VCP-410 ( 99% of the questions were from this dump )
    Testking VCP-410 ( 40% questions from testking VCP 410 467questions )
PassGuide VCP-410 ( passguide was a big rip off, they sold me old questions of vcp 310 claiming that those are new. barely 10% questions came from this one )

I would to tell everyone that don’t just go for braindumps. Because in the real world you need hands on experience and knowledge as well. After you have done this then you can go ahead and buy from a braindump site just to be on the safe side. As today world time is money.

Certifyme VCP-410 dumps are more than enough to pass as every single question that i saw on the real test was same as provided by certifyme product.

    Good Luck everyone

Hi i am an VCP 310 certified 2 month back i have taken myVCP-410 exam, but am not yet recived any certificate till now, can any one pl. guide me to get my VCP-410 certificate

  • http://www.vmguru.nl Erik Scholten

As you already saw, I passed my VCP-410 at September 4th and even I haven't received my certificate yet. From what I understand VMware waited for all material to be re-branded with their new logo and colors and started shipping VCP-410 certificates December 14th 2009.

On twitter I received some reactions from people who took the beta exam and received their certificates one or two weeks ago. So there's no other advice then to be patient.
